JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lammhults school is housed in a completely new school building, creating a very good working environment for both students and staff. We have access to exciting outdoor environments, with opportunities for outdoor education. The school has about 300 students aged 6-16 years.

At the school, we meet today’s children and youth who are the next generation of community builders. They are our curious and talented future. We want to nurture that. By giving them the best conditions to grow and develop their knowledge, we aim to create creative and responsible citizens. To succeed in this, we need more people who want to drive and shape new ideas to promote development and learning.

With modern pedagogy and new technology, our competent colleagues work to maintain a high quality with full focus on each individual and their varying needs. This means varied days and challenging meetings with growing individuals where it is important to be both humble and able to set boundaries.

In the role of teaching assistant, you will help students who need support to keep up with the lessons, manage breaks, and transitions to ensure that their entire school day functions in the best possible way.

The position is 75% and we are looking for someone who can start in week 9. The position extends until 2026-06-12.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with teaching assistant training or other education that we consider equivalent. We prefer candidates with experience in similar work.

You have an interest and understanding of the different conditions of children and students and work solution-focused to meet the individual needs of the students. You have a strong commitment and interest in working with educators to create the best conditions for our children and students. You are clear and confident in your professional role towards both students, parents, and colleagues, and have a good ability to build relationships with them.

Flexibility and good collaboration skills are of great importance, as is your ability to meet all students positively and engagingly. Personal suitability is highly valued.
